OBee Community Interest Company have just embarked on an ambitious project to clad our barn roof with hand made oak cleft shingles - from local oak. We are looking for energetic volunteers to help. This summer, we can provide you with board and lodgings in return for your time and energy. Ideally you will have some experience of green woodwork and shingle-making. We don't have as much experience as we would like, but we do know the basics, so if you would like to become more skilled in the historical art of cleaving oak, then come and join us.
