The Cohousing Forum (Bristol), is meeting next Thursday evening, 13th January 2010, at 7.30pm. This is an opportunity for anyone in the Bristol area interested in cohousing to meet like-minded people. If you're just curious to know more then come along, too. The purpose of the forum is to enable discussion about cohousing and to assist the formation of cohesive groups that will go on to create successful projects in and around Bristol. Please come along and make yourself known.

More information can be found at www.cohof.org.uk.

Thank you, Neil.

Thanks Neil for the Co-housing Info.

There is scope to include a co-housing project in with the proposed Ecomotive housing scheme in Eastville. We are currently looking at setting up a community land trust as part of the project, and a co-housing scheme would work well within the CLT.

I will try and bring some early stage drawings.

Please mention the Bristol CLT event which is going to be held in Hamilton House, Stokes Croft, Bristol on the 3rd February at 3pm to 7pm, with two short presentations at 3pm and 6pm.

I am interested in co-housing, but as an aging citizen (a very old 54) I am interested in established projects. I don't think I have the energy to start building houses (either self-build or self-finishing).

I currently live and work in Bristol. I hope to find a suitable co-housing project before I retire.

I also hope to go the the CLT meeting on 03 February 2011.
