Ecowood sounds interesting. Not that much info on the website though. If its extrusion based, has it got high embodied energy?
Also would be good to know if it is entirely made from recycled plastic, and not substituted with raw plastic. And what happens to it after its lifetime? Can it be melted down again?
And how does the price compare.
Its hard to get a true comparison of eco-impact. Has BRE reported on it?
