So, how can we obtain land, and what set ups have been shown to work which support people into their own home.

There are so many different models which have been tried, it would be great to get some feedback on peoples experiences, the good the bad and the ugly.

There are going to be those with a little bit of money who may be able to initiate a scheme, and those without money but with skills, and those with neither during the development stages who want to be part of a sustainable community.

No matter what the model, it is impossible for finance not to be part of it...even if its who buys the tea and cakes!

Also, each group and each bit of of land will have its variables and the models may have to be different for each new project.

You are so right, Jackson. like it or lump it, money (or some form of exchange) is going to be part of all our future communities...
